Eight is Great!

At the end of June, our sweet boy Lincoln turned 8! He had a Jungle Safari theme birthday party with all his friends.

Of course, when you turn eight you get to be baptized! Grandma and Grandpa came down from Utah and Linc was baptized on July 3rd.

After the baptism the extended family came back to our house for dinner. That evening it started to rain! It was quite the little cloud burst. Well the kids loved it! They were running around outside, laying down on the sidewalk, and having a great time. They got soaked. Of course none of the cousins had dry clothes to change in to. Good thing we have kids who wear the same sizes.

It was a very nice day. Thanks to all who came to support us.

Lincoln is a good boy. I can hardly believe how quickly he has grown. He is such a good example to his little sister and she adores him. He is a talented artist and a natural athlete. He has a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do and strait A's in school. I love to be around him and enjoy his sense of humor. He is a good friend and a good brother. Happy Birthday buddy, I love you.
